Tai Chi is an ancient practice proven to reduce pain and improve mental and physical well-being. Here at Arthritis ACT we offer this low impact exercise to help you improve your strength, flexibility and balance, your reduce stress, improving your overall health and well-being.

All classes are led by accredited instructors and are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable and beneficial to people with arthritis, other musculoskeletal and pain conditions. Here at Arthritis ACT we have two options based on your skill and knowledge level of Tai Chi.

Tai Chi Foundations is a 45 minute, light Tai Chi exercise class, consisting of both seated and standing movements. This class focuses on the foundational movements of Yang-style Tai Chi without focusing on a structured routine. Foundations is a perfect way to start your Tai Chi journey with AACT!

Tai Chi for Falls Prevention is a 45 minute Tai Chi routine based exercise class, designed to improve your mobility, balance and mental well-being. Classes are held once a week, and run over 5 week Term. Bookings are essential due to popularity.

All routines are safe, easy to learn and suitable for every fitness level.

Foundations Classes:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays – Bruce
  • Thursdays – Pearce

Tai Chi for Falls Prevention Classes:

  • Thursdays – Bruce – Beginner, Level 1
