"Move it or lose it."

Regular exercise is critical for the maintenance of joint mobility and strength as well as to prevent falls which can lead to fracture.

Warm Water Exercise**

Warm water exercise is offered in three hydrotherapy pools in Canberra. Water based exercise is particularly beneficial for those with musculoskeletal conditions. Being non-weight bearing it is kind to sore joints.

Warm water exercise program (Conditions Apply)

Canberra Hospital Pool
13 sessions weekly ($4 per session)

Black Mountain Pool
3 sessions weekly ($4 per session)

Simply Wellness Day Spa CISAC Belconnen
3 sessions weekly ($5 per session)

** A Medical Clearance Form (PDF, 18Kb) signed by your doctor is required for acceptance to the warm water exercise program. There is also an additional fee for members who want to attend warm water exercise sessions, as indicated on the Membership Application (PDF, 63Kb) and Membership Renewal (PDF, 61Kb) forms.
