These programs are designed to help people with long-term health conditions improve their overall health and quality of life. They help develop the skills to empower and enable self-management of long-term conditions more effectively day-to-day. Programs include:
  • Symptom and pain management
  • Relaxation
  • Healthy eating and exercise
  • Coping with fatigue
  • Positive thinking

Self-Management Courses

Arthritis Self-Management Course (6 Weeks)

6 week programme of 2 1/2 hours per week
Dates: 5 March to 9 April 2008 & 15 Oct to 19 Nov 2008

Osteoporosis Self-Management Course (4 Weeks)

4 week programme of 2 1/2 hours per week
Dates: 3 to 24 June 2008

"Challenging Pain" - Pain Management Course

2 week programme of of 2 1/2 hours per week
Dates: 3 and 10 Sept 2008
